Soundskrit’s Sound Tracking Demo Kit (Strider) uses four SKR0610 Directional MEMS Microphones together with DOA (Direction of Arrival) and AI VAD algorithms to determine where sound is coming from in real time and display the detected sound source through a visual interface. The system can simultaneously localize up to 3 sound sources, making it suitable for applications such as Voice Tracking, Beam Steering, smart cameras, and other acoustic sensing systems.

Sound contains not only level information, but also directional information. Soundskrit uses W, X, Y, and Z acoustic signals to capture directional information in three-dimensional space, enabling DOA (Direction of Arrival) estimation and Beam Steering. This allows the system to determine where a sound is coming from and steer the pickup direction toward the target sound source.
